it turns out that i won't have access to the stool of fabulous aquamarine hue until tomorrow, so tonight has turned into another edition of mending for others.

this delightful black slip was a kensington market find. cheap and lovely, but the straps leave a lot to be desired. i'm going do a little alteration that will make them more sturdy and attractive. a real femme mending task tonight! more beauty in the world! this is the femme battle cry!

now, cohen the cat thinks that there's nothing wrong with this slip:

but my friend thinks a strap fix-up is in order. now it's good as new!
